Prohibited & Restricted Items

The following items are prohibited or restricted for air freight shipping. Attempting to ship these items may result in shipment seizure, fines, or legal action.

Important Notice

All shipments are subject to inspection. Jengafri reserves the right to refuse, hold, or return any shipment containing prohibited items. Shippers are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

This list is based on international air freight regulations and FedEx shipping guidelines. Additional restrictions may apply based on destination country.

Explosives & Flammables

Explosives:Ammunition, blasting caps, fireworks, flares, fuses, igniters, primers, detonators

Flammable Gases:Aerosols, butane, propane, lighter refills, camping gas cylinders

Flammable Liquids:Gasoline, diesel, kerosene, paint, paint thinners, acetone, alcohols (industrial)

Flammable Solids:Matches, fire starters, magnesium, activated carbon

Oxidizers:Bleach, pool chemicals, peroxides, nitrates, permanganates

Hazardous Materials

Toxic Substances:Pesticides, herbicides, rat poison, arsenic, cyanide compounds

Infectious Substances:Biological samples, diagnostic specimens, medical waste, cultures

Radioactive Materials:Any radioactive substances, including medical isotopes

Corrosives:Acids (sulfuric, hydrochloric, nitric), alkalis, mercury, wet-cell batteries

Poisons:Toxic chemicals, strychnine, insecticides in bulk quantities

Weapons & Ammunition

Firearms:Guns, pistols, rifles, shotguns, air guns, BB guns, pellet guns

Ammunition:Bullets, cartridges, shells, primers, gunpowder

Weapons:Knives (over 6cm blade), swords, crossbows, tasers, mace, pepper spray

Weapon Parts:Gun barrels, firing pins, silencers, conversion kits

Replicas:Realistic toy guns, imitation firearms that could be mistaken for real weapons

Controlled Substances

Illegal Drugs:Narcotics, cannabis, cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, MDMA

Drug Paraphernalia:Pipes, bongs, syringes (except medical with prescription)

Controlled Medicines:Prescription drugs without valid documentation, opioids, steroids

Psychotropic Substances:LSD, psilocybin, ketamine, GHB

Batteries & Electronics

Lithium Batteries (Loose):Uninstalled or damaged lithium-ion and lithium-metal batteries

Damaged Batteries:Swollen, leaking, or recalled battery products

High-Capacity Batteries:Batteries exceeding 100Wh without proper documentation

E-Cigarettes (Loose):Vape devices with lithium batteries shipped separately from equipment

Restricted Items

Counterfeit Goods:Fake currency, forged documents, pirated media, knockoff branded items

Ivory & Wildlife:CITES-protected species, ivory, animal skins, furs, taxidermy

Human Remains:Cremated ashes, body parts (require special permits)

Perishable Food:Without proper cold-chain packaging and temperature control

Live Animals:Pets, livestock, insects (require special permits and carriers)

Plants & Seeds:Without phytosanitary certificates, soil, live plants (country restrictions apply)

Valuables & Documents

Cash & Currency:Bank notes, coins, bearer instruments, monetary instruments

Precious Metals (Bulk):Gold bars, silver bullion, platinum (without declared value insurance)

Gambling Devices:Slot machines, lottery tickets (destination restrictions apply)

Pornographic Material:Obscene or indecent materials (destination country laws apply)

Conditionally Allowed Items

The following items may be shipped with proper packaging, documentation, and declaration:

Perfumes & Fragrances

Limited quantities allowed with proper declaration. Max 500ml per package. Must be in original retail packaging with secure caps.

Cosmetics with Alcohol

Nail polish, hairspray, and alcohol-based cosmetics in quantities under 500ml with proper packaging.

Medical Equipment

Allowed with proper documentation. Prescription medications require valid prescription copy.

Electronics with Batteries

Devices with installed lithium batteries under 100Wh are allowed. Battery must be protected from short circuit.
